Other option is to zip tie a piece of rubber to the lower part of the shock body.

We actually put a boot on there but there isn't a boot that's big enough to fit properly so it bunches up pretty bad. King should make something that fits properly. This is my only complaint about the kings.

Definitely not the original use but might be able to adapt them since they’re usually over a coil
