Minnesota Snowmies

My window sticker just showed up. Not sure when it will land. 4k over signed contract price. Should be interesting when talk to dealer about the difference. More frikken drama associated with this bloody truck!
Likely the Level 2 price increase. Did you pay in full when you ordered? Seems like most of the dealerships (like mine) who were paid in full at the time of the order, were price protected. Everyone else is fair game.

No, but with my purchase history, dealer would be well advised not to fu*k with me on this deal. Time will tell.

What dealer?

Anyone use Coon Rapids CDJR?

I went to check out a used '21 they have.
Being it's used with over 8K miles on it, I of course wanted to test drive it.
Salesman looked at me and I quote "If you have to test drive a TRX, you are not a TRX buyer"
I was shocked and I though maybe I misheard him so I asked him to repeat what he just said to me. He said, "obviously you are not a TRX buyer as TRX buyers don't need a test drive because they actually do research and know what they are getting into."
I said I know exactly what I'm getting into and I'd still want to test drive any used vehicle I'm considering.
He then told me the TRX is not available for "joy rides" and if I wanted to be "considered" for a test drive, I needed to apply for financing first.

Never been treated than way by a salesman before :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
That salesman sized you up and figured you were not a serious buyer. His mistake.
I was hanging out on a Saturday at the Chevy dealership where my buddy was the service manager. Old farmer, in bib overalls drives onto the lot... driving a 20 year old pickup truck with rust and dents. I am thinking "What does this old geezer want?" My buddy leans over and says the old guy is millionaire farm owner. In about an hours time, the old guy orders 3 brand new Corvettes (for himself and his 2 grandkids) and a brand new pickup truck, and pays in cash.
Moral of the story....never prejudge ANYONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't see a thread for MN owners yet, so I guess I'll start one. Where my snowmies at?! 🥶
Hey there, dont cha know! Not livin in that nek of the woods myself, but my Dad and GranDad grew up in Elbow Lake - Fergus Falls. Goin to take in a family reunion next summer, round those parts. Goin to be a heck of a time, a heck of a time! Love that area of MN !

Ok guys, picked up my truck on Wednesday, and have been driving it through lots of slop and salt. Any good touch-free washes in the eastern Twin Cities I can get the crap off? No friction tunnels for my truck, but a good auto touch free for a quick salt reduction. Let me know! Thanks for the help.

20 years ago, there was an awesome one in Roseville on CR-C & Snelling. No idea if it’s still there. Follow me for more useless recommendations!

I shopped 5 local dealers (and salespeeps) before plopping down cash. The way I see it is if they are a dick before buying, probably not any better when you have a problem. I ordered from them in Nov and worked with Jesse, was a great experience. I think it’s just hit and miss now with sales. Anyone have best dealer for technical issues? (Best technicians to solve issues and regular maintenance?)

Great q. Had looked for the 18 Raptor in the north metro but no luck. Someone mentioned Mister in Roseville to me but I was not so trusting on the “fit” (“like 10 pounds of potatoes in a 5 pound sack “.

I ordered mine three weeks ago. Today I thought "what's taking so long?" Well shit, I can't ask that for a whole pregnancy.
I got mine last month. It was one of the Frankenstein level 1.5’s. Ordered another the way I want it a week ago.
