Sweet. I will never buy another Chevy/GM product again, but this now gives Ram something to aim for. They can proceed with the 9.3L quad-turbo SRT Jackal diesel engine with afterburners. (Jackals prey on mongooses - or is it mongeese?)

If anyone is a nerd like me…. The entire commercial was aimed at making fun of ford. The 6.7 is called the scorpion.
In the beginning the scorpion was making a ford emblem etc…
Ford and Ram are also allegedly coming out with new larger diesels as well.

8.3L diesel…why? I know why, but it’s not PG.

Seriously…how big, strong & tow worthy do these things need to get before they just become tractors? How many people needs to tow/haul 30+K pounds up steep mountain grades?

Most will get lifted with oversized, positive offset rims/tires & never pull anything heavier than a couple jet skis or landscape trailer. Yeah, a few will pull 5th wheels, but current engines are more than adequate for the largest models.

So, it’s come down to “Who has the biggest ****”
