To be fair golf r and rs3 are super fun cars!
The rs3 is also quite the little rocket ship.

Yes, they are. I would have loved to have them when I was a teenager or in my early twenties (if I had any money back then). No way would I want one after a TRX now though.

Sorry to hear about all your issues. I’ve owned both R and RS3; both are very fun. I liked the power(5 cylinder) and tech of the RS3 and the utility of the R’s hatch. The platforms are pretty solid too.

If I were you I would sell it and get a 27 TRX

If it is, you can fix the leak(s) yourself. The driveline clunk is an easy/cheap fix. The engine going tits up sucks and I could understand you wanting to get rid of it for that, but having a 3 year old truck with a new engine is pretty appealing.

My only problem is I can't get better than a TRX so I wanted to switch genres to get this sour taste out.

Not at all we were getting ready to go on a road trip to maine (4 hour drive) went to pull the handle and it snapped. It's currently -6 F.

Was more or less joking, most of the time people who beat on it get lucky with trouble free ownership. Then those who really pay attention end up with bunch of issues.

All I can say it I was able to drive my dream truck for 2 years. I think I might give it 1 more chance but there is just too many problems for my liking.

Since you have a Lunar, I’m assuming that you’re shopping in the $90k plus market, which is why an RS3 or VW seems like such a huge step down. There’s plenty of options out there for $100k.

I'm looking for not a truck because there isn't any better trucks I'm somewhere in the 50-85k range
