Likely Timing for 22 builds to be Completed?

I’ve read threads on here about how long people have waited for their orders and how long people are still waiting. Based on how 21’ orders were handled when production switched to 22’s, what is most likely the timing for orders to be fulfilled for current 22’ orders? I put an order in toward the end of June, but I don’t want to possibly wait 8 months, as I’ve heard on here. My build was flame red and had every option except ram bar and tire carrier. There is a new TRX available at MSRP near me, but I would rather wait and save the $ as the dealer I ordered from agreed to invoice, but I don’t want to wait until December - Feb, although I can’t imagine Ram would still be making 22’s then. Is it likely that builds will be completed by Sept? Please help me decide on waiting or just picking up a new one at MSRP. Thanks

Unless I’m looking at the build tracker wrong there are still some orders placed may/June/July 2021 that have not been built yet.

I would assume yours will be built at best in October. Add a few weeks for the discount dealer to get it ready for you + a few weeks for transport (if needed)

I personally would go w the msrp and enjoy it now. There are so many variables these days that can delay your build.

The common thought is the ones from June/July of 21 were cancelled orders.

I would think late September to fulfill all the 22 orders.

A couple weeks ago RAM mysteriously stopped churning out TRXs. They've since restarted, very slowly. IF...that's a big IF...they can get back to the production levels they maintained for the two months before that stoppage...then they can just barely produce all the remaining open orders before the end of the calendar year. If they can produce faster, then they can beat 31 December. But my bet is they'll be producing 22s in December after 23s are already rolling off the line.

Yea, everyone is so impatient and wants everything now. Not how things work in the new vehicle world right now unfortunately. I'll wait as long as necessary to save $12k and counting. It's a want not a need for me. I'm almost 5 months in and don't even have a scheduled date yet. Only worry I have now is they will rush through the production since they are so back logged and have even worse workmanship than they have already.

Exactly! I don't want my truck now and spend 2 months going back and forth to the dealership with issues. I rather wait a little more and have a "quality" build

The fact that they stop taking orders and are now taking orders again is a lil strange. That also with the release of 2 launch editions in the same year. I think more is going on then they are releasing as of now. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a big announcement coming in the not to distant future. Nothing they are doing right now is the same as it has been. They started ‘22 orders in may last year. Don’t make sense they just stop taking ‘22’s this week.
