Good afternoon. I was curious how the timeframe for most went when it came to buying from Koons. I ordered through them and the truck landed last Tuesday. We are on day 7 and I still haven't even heard back from finance yet. They just told me today that he has a stack on his desk and I should hear from him today. The process has been very slow so far. Just curious if this is normal with Koons. I dealt with Dan Cummins before and they had me dealing with finance the next day after delivery.

They are pretty strict on picking up within 14 days of the truck arrival. You should hear any day. I'd reach out again

We ordered through them and had no issues. Everyone's time frame is going to vary. I know it sucks but it varies based on how many orders they have etc

I picked mine up two days after it arrived early February. I didn’t finance though. I did fill out a finance application before I went, as they said they would accept a personal check, if I did so. Weird thing was, I got a letter from the finance department denying my application, two weeks after I bought the truck.😂

Well it looks like it is not going to work out. Not ok with the trade in number and they said they won't budge on it. Looks like no TRX for me. All in all I am not a fan of Koons at all. Have only actually talked to someone twice and that was finance for 5 minutes. All other communication has been emails because you can never get a hold of anyone when you call. Always voicemails. Was hoping to actually talk to someone to try and work a better deal but only get email responses back.

That sucks! I was happy with what they offered on my trade, luckily. All my dealings were by email also, which was ok, but I can understand wanting to actually talk to someone.

Not surprised, they are a volume dealer. They mark Just about everything up on their lot, I’d never use them. Tons of stories about crap trade value. A lot of their inventory has sat for a while marked up recently.

They tried to sell a challenger super stock for 65k over sticker.

Did you get the steep discount off the TRX that’s offered through here?

Yea I did but they were pretty much making up the difference in the trade in. If I wasn't trading in, it would be a great deal.

I agree. I was looking through their listings and their ford dealership has the same exact car I'm trading in for sale for over $40k more then what they offered for my trade.

What’s the trade? Can you get more elsewhere?

Did you try to sell to give me the vin or one of those types of places? Anyone remember the company in Texas that’s giving great trade values?

don't give up yet, try to sell all online dealers including the texas auto value @Corso923

Second giving somewhere like tx auto value a shot. I sold my truck to New Jersey truck king before I ordered the trx and they gave me way more than any dealer was offering on trade in.
