I believe some are looking at the aftermarket intakes wrong. Here is a comparison on a stock challenger hellcat intake vs a legmaker. Now, I know we don't have a legmaker for the TRX, but the open element without a heat shield concept is still the same.

Good thing I’m a bloodthirsty heathen. You guys that are wanting more whine but are afraid of maybe, in some conditions, IAT is hotter (but it flows 25% more cfm). Grow a pair. It’s just an intake. Have fun.

also still waiting for someone to go do multiple wot runs, thoroughly heat soak their engine and record iat’s. Mine seems maybe 5-10deg hotter which wins since it takes 25% more in.

I am not sure if 2 filters will be the same as one large filter (ideal for a PD blower) even if surface area of filtering media is the same……

Also an airbox wouldn't be a bad thing either.

Ugh, I feel the same way. Once I get my truck back next week there really won't be anything else I can do it to add more power other than meth/nitrous. I'll decide by the time it comes out. Looks cool too.

The AFE gave my 19 limited a sweet induction sound. Can’t imagine how good they must make the 6.2 sound with that setup can’t wait !!

Looks really cool but still raises the same concerns about heat soak that the other intake had with 1 filter right in the engine bay. I think AFE is a lot better engineered in that aspect as it retains the hood flow and location. The AFE intake with coupon code is also cheaper. This does look really cool tho.
