Looks really cool but still raises the same concerns about heat soak that the other intake had with 1 filter right in the engine bay. I think AFE is a lot better engineered in that aspect as it retains the hood flow and location. The AFE intake with coupon code is also cheaper. This does look really cool tho.

Does @BusaDave approve is the only question?

I heard Retroshop's intake yesterday. The intake is loud ASF when you get into boost. I love it.

I’ll go ahead and throw this out there cause I know it’s coming

I like my air fresh please!

It says it weighs 40lbs....is that the shipped weight or actual, if actual that's heavy.

It would be foolish to give up a functional Ram air hood scoop. I can not think of any scenario where tucking filters under the hot hood as being superior.

I want a CAI that builds upon the OEM design.

It’s superior in the auditory dept and hasn’t proven to cause iat’s to go up much

Good Lord! This is a good way to lose HP! Hey, it is a well known fact people are attracted to shiny beads. Talk about sucking in hot, less dense air lol! People will actually spend this kind of money to lose HP and gain sound. Oh well.... PT Barnum said it best "Many people are gullible, and we can expect this to continue."

Please post your extensive testing data. There is no way in hell those filters sucking up hot air right off the manifold are going to do anything but increase the air charge temperature.

Even the marketing information from the maker, care is taken to avoid the HP issue. Talks about flow and sound.

I’ve seen no reports of the forum members having IAT’s as measured in the performance pages that are more than 0-10% additional and the bwoody intake has a higher cfm by 24%. You also get cold air on your blower and engine bay from the hoodscoop

I think I could make a rational argument that the stock box on top of the blower and under the beauty cover would be more likely to hold heat too.

#eatdix you troll.

Bottomline nobody knows.

Bless your heart.... See if you can sell that over on the Raptor Forum. ;) Notice you stopped posting over there. Smart move...
