My compustar/drone has been giving me the low battery alert every time I start my truck.

Yesterday the truck was at 13.6v when driving, today it’s back to normal of 14.2v
But still the low battery alert.

Just parked after a 20 mile drive and drone says 12.5v when shut off. (Seems about normal ish as far as I can remember for parked voltage)

Does this mean it’s time… ?

Parked off voltage

Check if clamps are tight enough. This message also shows up when there are sudden voltage fluctuations.

Do you have a battery tester? They are pretty cheap and will give you a good idea of your battery health.

Funny enough I went to o’rielys last week to have them test my battery. I am just over the 4 year mark, they gave it a clean bill of health.
Tester showed all green.

If you have them or autozone/equivalent most do it for free

I don’t have a load tester. I’ll go to autozone and have them test it
