With the S&B you had to take over your cover with the TRX eating the raptor?

Unfortunately, yes due to the fitment of the airbox. However, it is possible to modify the stock cover to reuse. Search around - i can't remember who did, but someone did it successfully.

S&B for sure. Was the first thing I did literally days after getting my Rex. The whine is magnificent. You can hear it coming from a distance, turns heads and makes me smile every time.

I’ve been reading some of the comments in regard to being CARB compliant. I recently been watching this guy on YT, goes by the name TK’s Garage. He seems to think that the EPA will either get neutered or completely dissolve, and with that, CARB will go away. It may happen very soon. If this is the case? All the CARB stuff will be a thing of the past. I’m pretty optimistic about it.

I like my K&N, but its not CARB compliant. It maximizes cool air coming in through the hood scoop. Sound is barely noticeable at slow cruise, but really howls during hard acceleration.

As we have seen on here with the crazy amount of YouTubers claiming over 1000hp trx for 2026, I just have my pessimism about it being true, I hope it is for the sake of common sense.

I just started watching his videos after they popped up on my YouTube feed. In his latest ones, he talks about the Transportation Freedom Act that just passed the House. He seems pretty optimistic about it making it through the Senate, if that happens, it’s off to Trump’s desk.

From the way he makes it sound, CARB will completely go away. Honestly, it’s hard for me to believe since I live in California, and things here always seem to fall short. You’d have to check out his most recent videos about the EPA and CARB to see what he’s saying.
