Insurance Rates in Texas

I have State Farm and live in Houston. I was charged 602.40 for 6 months with
*$500 deductable for collision and comprehensive
*250K/500K liability
*250K property damage (in case I run into a Huracan or something)
*$250/500K uninsured

If I went for bare bones it goes down to like $350 for 6 months. I'm 35 with no accidents or violations in the past 10 years.

I have Farmers. Same limits as above and around same pricing at $550/ six months

I have USAA which has great rates. my insurance went up $2.50 per month from my 2015 F150. btw - they know what you have when you give the VIN. 49 and clean record
I’m in Florida and just checked on going from 15 F150 to TRX. Safeco will increase my premium by $1,180 annually!! That’s a little more than $2.50 per month!! Looks like I’ll be shopping!!

Are they open to non-military? Nobody in my family is so I’ve always thought I was on the outside looking in.
Still need a family member that has been in the military. I do not believe it has to be a direct family member though so if you have any farther down or by marriage etc you might want to look into it.

Just curious what the quotes you guys have gotten? I know every region is a little different but mine seemed a little high. Quoted $891 every 6 months. Multiple policies and clean record.
770 with Statefarm

We got a separate policy on the TRX with Travers Insurance because they offer full replacement coverage for 5 years. Can’t remember how much it was though. The wife handled it and she wasn’t freaked out so it must not be that bad. I put $30k down so didn’t need gap, but after TT&L and the $10k markup (I know I’m dumb) I wanted full replacement in case it gets totaled.

Mine is going up $15 over my current 2020 F250 KR PSD…..I have 5 vehicles with my two kids, my wife’s Jeep 4xe and my excursion.

I'm at $810/6 months with 250/500 coverage. $1000 deductible on collision and $25 deductible on comprehensive

I'm an Allstate agent in CA and we have excellent rates on the TRX. For me personally the TRX is the same rate as a 2021 Rubicon. If anyone needs help in CA let me know.

I am in the DFW and I pay 170 full coverage on two vehicles. TRX and 19 JEEP GC. insurance went down when I swapped to the trx from a 19 ram 1500 Laramie.

State farm, Allstate, Nationwide or always the highest premiums because they do the most marketing and people like Mayham, Jake from State Farm, have to be paid. Find a local insurance broker in your area that represents a dozen or more companies. He can put you on a carrier like auto owners, state auto etc. who have really high ratings, good customer service, and are usually around half the price. Of course multi line discount helps

Quoted $108 a month through Geico, 1k deductible raised limits 42 years old clean record. Montgomery County, don’t forget location plays a big role. In Harris County I was quoted $1300 every 6 months

I have usaa in wisconsin Clean driving record 100 $300,500 deductible told him I’m gonna drive the car 5000 miles a year which is probably a high estimate because it’s not my every day car $1100 a year total

Got a quote from Progressive ~$551/ 6 months w/ $500 deductible at 250/500/300 coverages. I do have multiple policies with them which does help.

2022 TRX with GEICO in TN, $50 Comp deductible, $500 collision. My six month premium is $422.72. Also have a 2022 Jeep Rubicon 392 and 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L on the policy. $1087.39 total 6 month full coverage premium for all 3 vehicles.

I have a client that works at USAA, she said that general banking is open to the public but not insurance.
