Insurance Quote

When I bought my charger hellcat almost 5 years ago the first 6 months was $400. The second six months was $1100.
Been that way since. Great driving record but old. Over 70. Geico

I attached screen shots of my policy details and bill from American Family with a $500 deductible full coverage on my truck and my wifes Durango our premiums as you can see are $295.00 every 6 months
What do you have your coverage set to?

I am assuming these quotes are for full coverage and not just liability correct??

Would also be good to know if folks are quoting with state minimums or state maximum limits. All the quotes I provided were with the state maximum coverage.

That would be a 80-90k gamble for a thousand bucks. I would hope everyone gets full coverage.

I just called and got my TRX insured today. I traded in my 2019 red eye for it. I was shocked when my premium dropped from $100 a month to $82. Having said that, they were not able to pull my VIN up and had to call underwriting and call me back.

Totally agree. Wouldn’t even consider getting liability only. Some of the quotes seemed so low tho I figured I would ask.
I agree with you on that! Hope mine is the same for awhile until databases catch up

Full Coverage $500 deductible, I think it is up to $250k max per person $500k max per incident if those numbers make sense but I could be wrong I'm not in the insurance industry but I know I have a lot more coverage than the state minimum. I also have a $10 million umbrella policy that covers me well beyond what any normal car insurance would cover which costs me about twice what my annual car insurance costs

Cheaper today! But now I am thinking of making it my new company vehicle.

Miami FL,

Best rate I found $225 monthly I thought it was a steal. I paid $331 monthly for my charger hellcat so my insurance is cheaper on the the trx!

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!! almost $3k per year for insurance on a truck and $4k per year on a charger....I'm assuming they just figure 20% of the vehicles on the road there are going to be totaled by a hurricane every couple years with rates like that, or you average 20+ reckless driving tickets per year

Perfect driving record!! Lol my last ticket was about 10 years ago for tinted windshield.

Funny story the day I picked the charger I left paying $580 a month for my policy and switched over after searching low and high🤣🤣

LOL......If i was paying nearly $600 a month I would almost certainly self insure and just get state minimum liability

Sounds like some here need to be working with their local Farm Bureau insurance company (co-ops vs. for profit matters). And I don't mean Farmers or State Farm, I mean companies like Kentucky Farm Bureau, Indiana Farm Bureau, or local state equivalent - many states have them, even Florida! While their technology is typically behind, they are so much cheaper and typically have good local service. My TRX 6 month policy is only $51 more than my 17 RAM 1500 limited @ $320 for a 6 month policy full coverage. I do have a $2k deductible because it pays for itself to have it that high with nearly any insurance provider unless you're making frequent claims. I carry 300k/500k policy limits with a large umbrella policy. The TRX will be a little less than my 16 challenger hellcat and slightly more than my 20 Durango SRT, all of which makes sense to me. 2 adults and no teen drivers yet, but soon will (though my prices don't change much as they've quoted it already).

14 benz glk, 16 challenger hellcat, 20 durango srt, 21 ram trx = $1400 with taxes for me for a 6 month policy, about 65 cents a HP per 6 months!
