IGLA contact, to become an installer?

Interesting.......because I called / left a message and emailed about 30 days ago, telling them I was interested and I had 5-6 other TRX owners who were interested. No return call and no return email. "Moe" was the name on the email, from their website.
Not sure I want to trust my truck with someone who does not return messages. I will wait.
But let us know how your install and follow up goes.
That doesn't make me super comfortable either. I'll give them a call. If you PM your name, I can mention you not getting a response and see what they say.

I get that maybe the email didnt go through, but ignoring an old school voice mail?
Thanks!

So far, the only credible installers are in Illinois and Texas.
Nothing in CO yet!
Ox Audio in Philly has done a bunch of TRXs for the north east peeps.

They will be doing mine the day it lands. IGLA + Compustar (for shock sensors, GPS tracking, etc)… $2,000 installed. IGLA stand-alone is about $1200

I just got off the phone with Colorado Audio. It's $1205 total to install. $400 deposit to order the system and it takes about a week to come in. Once it arrives they can schedule the install within a week or two. I'm in for one!

Let us know how the install goes and your impressions of the shop.
They are not at the top of my list right now, due to lack of response to email and voice mail.
I run my own business, so I have zero tolerance of the whole "no response" thing........

It blows my mind, the number of folks willing to turn down work.

It cuts across all industries… I had an HVAC contractor tell me he wasn’t taking “new clients”. Needed my furnace, AC coil, and condenser replaced… ($12k one day job) and I was flexible with scheduling… just had no interest in it.

Right there with ya, it also comes down to doing business with the right people.
I called a HVAC guy to look at my AC a few years back, because the condenser was running all the time with very little cold air (in mid May = hot).
He would not schedule a time, but told me to just wait until he had an "opening". I asked how long until you have an opening? He replied, I dont know. So I called a large Denver HVAC firm who had a guy on site that afternoon (condenser was fried), by noon the next day I had a brand new 5 ton system installed along with a new HE furnace, bill was $17,000.00.
The first guy was stepping over dollars, to pick up pennies and he is likely still chasing around $500 and $600 dollar repairs.

This is precisely why keeping smart people out of “the trades” is such a travesty in this country.

Had I learned a trade prior prior to going to business school rather than the route I took, I’d be retired already.

@metatravel Did you end up getting IGLA installed at Colorado Car Audio? If so, how was your experience?

Just put my deposit down at Colorado Car Audio so I’ll be curious how the install goes for you. I pick up my truck next week and that will be one of my first mods on the truck.
