How many miles where on your trx when you picked it up??

12 miles on mine when I picked it up last week. Sitting at 568 right now, and loved every single one. Break in period is painful in theory, but actually gives a good 'ease in' to the crazy driving experience that is the mighty TRX. This monster can get you in trouble really quick. The 20-80mph pull is unlike anything I've ever driven, so for the first 100 miles being limited to 3500 RPM max, you'll still be able to accelerate faster than the normal pace of traffic. I used that time to get a feel for the different drive modes. Break in goes by quicker than you'd think. Makes that first hard launch that much sweeter.

These mileage reports are crazy!! I was a auto tech for many years and performed PDI (pre-delivery inspections) on lots of cars and trucks from Shelby GT 500s to loaded 1 tons to Japanese Sports cars that had less than 1 mile on them when delivered to the dealer. I would pull off all the plastic as well as a huge checklist and in all my years it was never required to put more than 10 miles on a new vehicle. Usually it was only 2-6 miles. I would have been fired if I put 20 something miles on a new Shelby just "inspecting" it. I think all TRX must to be driven to shipping or cosmetics and thats why they have so many miles unless dealers are really joy riding. Personally I will be pissed if there is more than 10.

I appreciate your insight from experience @THR evo8 . When I saw someone say there was 32 miles on their truck, that sure seemed like someone had failed to resist temptation while preparing the customers ride.

That said, I can see the temptation, especially if you thought you could find a replacement gig easily.

I'm jealous people are able to get them. Here in SoCal the dealers with allocations are talking about charging +25K when their first allocations arrive.

Dealer here in Texas said almost all trucks arriving with higher than normal miles. 10-25 miles

Just looked at a trx at a local dealer. Friend of mine is giving up his Allocation. Love the truck but was turned off that the truck already had 25 miles on it when I went to look at it. So anyone that received their TRX already how many mile we’re on it when you took delivery?

I haven't received mine yet, but the Hellcat I ordered had 32 miles on it when it came off the truck. That's before the PDI. Granted I am basically at the end of the supply chain, so that's probably why. When I worked for GM in Phoenix, most of our vehicles had 2 miles on the odometer after the PDI.

I got the first automatic hellcat delivered to NC in December of 2014. It had 43 miles on it when I picked it up!! I was less than happy but as soon as I drove it and it all became real I forgot all about it.

When it got real, I forgot about it. That's awesome; reality check. And hey.... I bet for two or three people that was the best 10~ish mile drive of a hellcat they ever got.

25 seems pretty reasonable, some of the dealership folks may have wanted to check it out. I would be more concerned with top speed or top high rpm while in the break in period. Might be hard to find one with less than 10 or 15 miles on it if it’s properly checked out by the dealership on delivery.
