Help dash

First, it’s been a long time but I wanted to again thank everyone who makes this forum possible and a success. Back in 2021 when I was exploring diving into TRX dream, this website lead me to Granger motors, getting my 2022 built to all my specs, a great discounted extended warranty and the TRX at about $10k below MSRP when all my locals were charging huge mark ups.

So now I’m back needing help again. I absolutely love my TRX. I’ve been lucky enough go to have had a lot of great vehicles (from BMWs, mega cab, Lexus LC, tons of maxed out trucks) and my TRX is by far my fav of bunch.

So my 2022 dash started to warp. It was inside my warranty and my extend. I brought to my local dealer and it had been almost a year without a part. Finally I went around my dealer made a direct Ram customer service case. I had a very involved guy, escalated my case. After about a month my local dealer called said my dash was in. Brought it in and they installed it.

So now the help. I have a grey stitched interior. I like a bit low key on interior finishes and the bright red stitching option on my 2022 build was not for me. So now my raised leather warp is gone but it’s very mismatched stitching. I am currently trying to get a straight answer from Ram and my dealer. I am annoyed because IF they claim only red was available and grey not being made THEN they shoulda had convo with me and maybe having stitching colored before install might have been an option. Or they mis ordered a part, It seems odd to me that if thousands ?? Of TRXs like mine had grey stitching and Ram would just make only the bright red ?

Does any one have any experience in this dash issue and any constructive insight as I wait on Ram & local dealer story ?

They installed that without asking if you were OK with it? That's crazy and I wouldn't settle for that hack job..

So you didn't select the Red accent package on your build and then the dealer replaced your standard dash with the Red? If so then they have another replacement to do! Take it back in and tell them to get it right. From my understanding the replacement dashboards take a long time to come in. Just had a forum member replace their own and it was the grey style. Maybe @OnTheReel can help point you in the right direction believe he utilized @RamCares. Good luck and do not settle they owe you the correct dash!

They just put the wrong dash in and apparently either didn’t notice, or didn’t care. They are still producing the version with grey stitching because RHOs come with it. Get back with RamCares and have them get you one because that looks ridiculous.

I feel like they probably had the old dash out before ever even looking at the replacement and just said “fuck it, no turning back now”. Maybe the wrong part was ordered, or maybe the right part was ordered but the wrong part showed up. All I know is that Ram service departments aren’t ever to be trusted and they should be embarrassed by the shit that gets posted here just about every day.
