Anybody play Halo back in the day? I’m trying to put together a group to relive the glory days. The HALO remake comes out at the end of July.

I moved cross country when I turned 18, so, I don’t have any local friends from way back then.

Anyone interested? We really need one more guy to have a full squad of 4.

He can probably recruit them but I doubt they look like the picture anymore

@DanZman maybe when the remake comes out some online play could work out better

Love this idea! I barely played halo at all so i'm prolly not ur man but my bud and I still play PS3 Nazi zombies online once/week just to decompress from the kiddos!

Early Xbox Live was such a shitshow. Especially for my 12yo mind.

I used a PC for those battles - around 2000. Started with Doom late 90s. Hooked up cables with roommates to start 1:1 battles.

I never liked controllers - just keyboards.

A million years ago (I still play) we would have lan parties in different places for Unreal Tournament. One of the best was in New York at a computer center near SoHo, there was about 40 of us, rented the whole place for 6 hours. One memory that stick in my head was that NY smelled like a dumpster that had not been emptied for a month.
I still play online. What a big time suck but it is fun.

Grab the rocket launcher and snipe big groups of participants, rack 'em up! Then listen to the bitching. Love it. Or walk right up behind someone and blast them with the shotgun...or aforementioned launcher from a bit of a distance.
