Granite Crystal Metallic RAM TRX Photo Thread

I am seriously contemplating removing my ppf stealth after seeing all of these shiny Granite TRX pics. I kinda miss that look. And it would be a good time to fix all of the dings and dents from off-roading. We have the best color hands down! Rumor has it, maybe even the fastest…

I dunno man. Your stealth looks sweet.

I'm booked for PPF clear for the front/sides with ceramic on the rest at the beginning of the month. I want to do stealth, but that was around $8,300 for the entire truck vs. $3,500 for partial PPF and ceramic coat. I just couldn't pull the trigger..

When you say front/sides do you mean the bedsides? That's the area that takes the most rocks.

Your truck pictures helped me decide to go with Stealth. Have had truck since 10/21 and had PPF over the gloss, removing it now and installing the XPEL Stealth with additional ceramic coating.
Why not just throw a matte wrap on top of the PPF you already have? Would be less money and can always go back to gloss with the PPF already there.

It's 7800.00 to install the stealth and ceramic coat and 500.00 to remove previous wrap. The original PPF was only done to edges also, they are pulling trim and taillights to better tuck the new PPF

This is the only reason I didn’t end up doing stealth. The ppf guy told me you’re kinda stuck with it unless you want to drop some serious money. He told me to do regular ppf, and then if I get bored I can just wrap on top of the ppf
I have already replaced the ppf on the drivers side doors (front and back), rocker panels, A-pillars and left side of the bed. That wasn't a cheap date. When it was a pavement princess the stealth ppf made sense. But she likes the desert, the ppd takes a beating. I guess it is suppose to save the paint which it is. I might switch to clear ppf for a while. Or just get a side by side and save my truck! lol

hahah sounds like our TRX's get similar usage. I'm about to cross over 5k on the odometer and about 1k of those are desert miles. Clear PPF has been great for me but even that hasn't saved my bedsides from everything.

I'm going the same route with a side by side. I'm likely ordering a Pro R 4 when the 2023 model is released.

That's a solid deal for Stealth

The Pro R 4's are sweet. They are a beast too. The extra 25hp helps out with the weight. I was looking at the Maverick X3 MAX RS myself. It doesn't have the same HP as the R4 but it is lighter by a few hundred pounds (almost like TRX vs Raptor) lol. I like the size of the rzr though.
I would rather beat on the SxS instead of my truck. Maybe relegate the TRX to trails and camping. We will see.

I absolutely love the CanAms but they require a bunch of work to make them safe for the type of driving I want to do. Welds aren't up to par, needs a cage day one, and gusseting everywhere.

The biggest reason I am waiting is that Can Am is supposed to release a Pro R competitor. The patent/diagrams are all leaked already so we'll see. I'd really like for Can Am to make a package that performs like their cars do now but with the quality and finish work like the Pro R out of the box.

Ps, this is what I race with currently. This at least takes away the urge to completely destroy my TRX.

Nice. Any upgrades on HP?
Just exhaust. Which I don't know if that even makes a difference.

Focus is on reliability for racing. Buddy of mine, who actually picked up my 2nd TRX order of my identical truck, owns the car and asked me to drive. Shocks are rebuilt/valved for racing plus all the standard racing stuff (cage, comms, air, etc)

New to me… 2022 picked it up with 900 miles… no story that I could get.

I gave up on the dealer ordering one. Got this one for the listed sticker…

Not sure if it's the angle, but looks lifted

That rear does look high, but may be because shocks haven’t settled in. Mines definitely not raised like that, but I’m at 24k miles

Could be the drive line hanging up with the clunk. My clunk, at a light, feels like it is releasing tension before I take off.

Ground to center top of wheel opening at the rear is 43”, 40” in the front…. Was planning on a front lift to get it more level…
