Ordered my TRX to be similar spec as my old hellcat. Now I just need afford another one ?‍

I too am going from a Tungsten and Black Challenger to a Granite and Black TRX!! . . .well, eventually!

Does anyone have a picture of their Granite colored truck with the side mirror covers switched to the matching body color? I have truck on order and sure I want to switch out the mirror covers but can’t find a picture of a truck with it done. I want to go ahead and order the covers but want to see one first. Thanks

it is a real nice upgrade. I havent done it but my friend Kevin has on his Granite truck and it flows so much better. I havent done it because I intend to use the truck for overlanding / camping and figure the less paint to maintain the better off I will be. A bunch of us are meeting up on 9/4 for a local cars and coffee meet that happens in southern california. I will try to remember to grab a side by side of our trucks and send you the photo so you can see the difference on two Granite TRXs.

I got them off of eBay from a mopar parts store. I have a standard 7ft garage door. I’m leveled with 37s and fit with an inch or so to spare. The running boards are NFab. I had them on my 19 Laramie and pulled them off to put them on this truck before I traded it in. I’d like to get power steps eventually, just using these until I get them.

Do these just go over the mirror w 3m tape? Is that how they are installed ?

There is a video of someone doing the modification and a thread on here(I think) you remove the mirror from the housing and that gives you access the a screw and tabs to remove the black cover and the colored cover replaces.

Yes when your close it still comes through, but definitely a little muted. Yeah I was debating for a few weeks, the first guy wanted my truck for 8 working days. I was like no f-ing way. After a couple of weeks I decided to call another installer and unbeknownst to me, he was a mobile installer. He did it in 3 days at my property in my barn. I am really happy how it turned out.

that looks absolutely gorgeous! what did that cost?

Anyone painted the bottom part, where it’s black, to match the granite? I have never been a 2 tone person but wanted the granite color. If anyone has, what was the costs and share pics if possible. Thanks in advance.

I have never cared for grey colored cars/trucks, but this granite with the metal flake is absolutely fantastic on TRX!!! I fell in love with it once I saw it in person, just looks clean and mean. In the past I've had some brighter colors on my raptors (red, blue) and I'm happy to have something a little more subtle but tough looking.

For anyone on the fence on this color on the TRX, I'm telling you, you can't go wrong!

@triggerfish : is yours painted granite all the way down instead of the black? Hard to tell from that view with the reflection in the picture. Do you have a side view picture? Thanks

Such a good looking color, I'm sure I made the right move picking it! When placing my order I was having a hell of a time figuring what to go with. Red and granite are my favorites, but blue is real sharp as well. Wife wanted me to get white to match her 2020 rebel. Then I considered silver to match my Hellcat. I don't think I went wrong picking granite though, it just looks mean.
