I’ve been keeping constant tabs on what my trade value should be on my ‘23 Level 2 in perfect condition with 37k miles come trade-in time on my ‘27 that should arrive at my dealership in November.

I was sitting pretty $-wise at the time I ordered the ‘27 in July, but the value has dropped $3k in the last month. $8k in the last 2 months. In talking to some different guys in the biz, values drop precipitously in the last quarter of every year.

This scares me, so today when I got a firm $72k offer online from a national buyer, I took it. I checked several buyers and it was a few thousand higher than all the other offers.

I work mainly from home anyway and can drop the wife off at work for a month and a half if necessary.

Just letting everyone know what the market looks like so you can make a selling decision early, or risk some pain if you wait until you take delivery of the new one.

It’s mostly due to the 27’s launching with more power and features driving used buyers to just buy new.

I’d have just called the dealer and made a deal with them since you will save big money on sales tax with a trade in.

Talked to dealer. They estimated $70k sight unseen.

Selling my 21 with 22k miles for $72k in February was the right move I guess. Still feels bad every time I fire up my RHO 😭😭😭

Didn’t feel like driving 100 miles for them to tell me all they would do is $65k or dome shit after looking at it. Got offered what I was looking for so I took the offer. I also have the benefit of no truck payment for the next few months.

I made this post to inform, not necessarily to be second guessed. But we know how things go on a forum like this.

We don't say gen 1 here. There is a TRX and SRT TRX. Carry on.
