I got the four springs swapped out today and I'm impressed with the ride. Because of the progressive rate of the spring, the little bumps are much smoother. They're a little expensive for four springs but it seems like everything for the TRX is expensive. The front was actually easier than the rear. I had purchased a special strut removal socket (where it holds the strut still while you unscrew the bolt holding it). That made the difference along with the spring compressors I had from a previous build. I think the rear springs would have been easier if I had undone the lower shock bolt to completely drop the rear axel, but the spring compressors and a pry bar worked after a few tries. In the front the stock height (to the bottom of the fender) was 39.25" while the rear stock height was 41". After the Geiser lift springs the front sits at 42.5" and the rear sits at 42.75". I expect some settling but the truck looks great and feels smoother. I do have to get an alignment and take it to the dealer to have the ride height relearned / reprogrammed by a dealer only OBD tool.

That looks awesome. How does the truck sit from drivers side to passenger? Is it close to level?

That looks to be a really nice height!! It does make the wheels look a bit small which is crazy thinking of 35s looking small. I think it would look Sick sitting on some 37s!!!

@Dcooper so the OP said something about taking to dealer to have height calibration did you have to do this and was it expensive? I found them for $1299 on off-road Alliance

I did not do that, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. Perhaps he knows something I do not... worth a call to the dealership to see what they think. Thing is most those guys probably have no clue. I had them put on by my local 4wheel parts store. I also paid 1300, you might want to just order directly from Geiser so you don't have to wait for a 3rd party to get them in stock and ship them out again. Also, I see you are in Texas, Geiser is in AZ, so might be faster to get them.

Running them on mine with 37’s. Ride and stance is fantastic. Yes you want to have your dealer recalibrate the ride height sensors as you want the truck to see it’s “new” normal height as “home” if you will and react to changes as it was designed. It takes 5-10 minutes with even a decent tech. Simply hood the truck up to their computer, go into the active dampening control module and hit calibrate basically. My dealer didn’t charge me for it. I literally just stopped in and was gone 15 minutes later.

Good to know, thank you for sharing. I'll be calling tomorrow to get them to recalibrate.

So how do these springs feel on the street and offroad compared to stock? Smoother, stiffer, what's the difference?

They're a bit more stiff. Handles amazing off road tho. Just drops that 1980s cadilac feel when on the street.lol
