Its under the engine cover

GLWS, based on pictures, looks like deep south aka south jersey aka 609 area code aka pork roll country..

haha pretty close, it's still technically south jersey, but 732 area code. I did grow up in 609 area code though lol. Definitely pork roll country!

This is exactly what I want but you are in NJ... Just my luck.

Go see it in person then drive it back or have a hauler ship it for you. Lot of us had our truck shipped to us on a trailer.

I was willing to do this to be honest but want to finance through my credit union here (for best rates) and they said the seller would have to come to their location here in Texas to do the paperwork... I told them there is no way a private seller in another state is going to do that but of course it's just their policies...

That's a very odd request from your credit union. Doesn't make sense. Speak to the branch manager to clarify.

Signatures don’t show up on my phone, at least not on this forum (but they do on the 5th Gen forum).
Same here when scrolling vertical, on an iPhone rotating the phone into landscape mode it will all show up.

I learned something new lol. Works on android too. I guess I've never turned phone sideways on here 🙃

I've sold several other "specialty" trucks in the past and had buyers fly in, I picked them up at the airport, we drove to the bank to deposit the check, sign the title over, and notarize a bill of sale (even though most states just need the title, it's an easy step and saves any hassle after the fact if for some reason that respective state's DMV gives anyone trouble over the purchase price) and then they drove the trucks home. One was my second 2000 HD truck that had 25k miles on it and that guy flew in from GA and drove it home, the other was my red 2004 Lightning with 40k miles on it and he flew in from IL and drove it home. Since they were dealing with the inconvenience of flying in and driving many hours home, as part of the deal I covered the costs of their flights, I picked them up at the airport in the truck, and flying into Philly and being a cheesesteak fanatic myself, I've also bought the guys Philly Cheesesteaks lol.

Just curious, what rate is your CU at? On my new truck I got 5.29% with Navy Fed CU, and they just cut a check without anything at all on the vehicle itself, I have to fill out the VIN# and vehicle info and all that and mail that back in. Could be different on new vs. used but pretty sure it was similar when I bought my 04 SRT10 a few years ago and originally financed the up front buy from them. On some prior trucks I've bought used and financed, I've had one or two where I just got the easiest/quickest loan even if it wasn't the lowest rate (just because I was in a crunch to scoop the truck up), then I immediately refinanced it thru the place with the lower rate that was a little more involved to get processed. Since it's already titled in your name from the first purchase, the refi is easy and I'd only be out the $80 title fee for NJ (which I assume varies by state). Just something else to consider. May cost a few extra bucks but could help you get a truck you really want whether this one or another one, and still save all the money on a lower rate because you can usually refi it before the first payment is even due.

Worth while to shop around with other CUs though to see if others don't have that in-person rule, it's unusual to have to have both folks there in person since a lot of sales happen across states. Or perhaps double check if that CU gets a notarized bill of sale and a copy of the signed over title is that sufficient.

If you are interested and wanted any other pics or walk around vid or anything else, just let me know. I'm sure I can work out the same deal as other trucks I've sold and cover the flight in and pick you up at the airport (with Philly Cheesesteaks to go lol) if you'd want to fly in and drive it home.

And since we're on the subject and I'm nostalgic....pics of my red 04 L and black 00 HD that I've sold to out of state buyers that flew in....and missed the trucks....because I've since bought, drove, and sold 4 other Lightnings (gray 03, black 01, black 00, and black 99), and 2 other harley trucks (two black 03s) over the years....the other trucks I've sold were all local or within a close enough range that I just dropped them off. I can see myself ending up in another TRX someday too once I can build a 40x60 shop to fit more vehicles and not have to cycle thru a couple at a time till I get an itch for another one lol)

Seems like they could email the documents they need signed to the seller, the seller has them signed and notarized and overnights the original documents to your CU. It's done that way all the time. As SandBlaster mentioned you should talk to the branch manager, that doesn't make sense.

I will check out some options and DM you tomorrow. Thanks for the info and the offer.

I've just slowly adopted to nearly everything OG-routine, and I use Meguiars Hyper Dressing on the wheel wells. I think the reason they still look so good is just I've stuck with that routine since day 1, whereas if there's already liners that are faded or dull I'm not sure it will bring them back quite the same. I wasn't as OG-oriented with my Gen 1 raptor, but I still always cleaned/washed the truck, but the fender liners still got dull, the plastics faded with time, etc. My TRX, I've been OCD with the OG method since day 1, and honestly I really think it's paid off because always having that added layer of protection I think has really kept it time capsuled if you will. The wheel liners still look like new from always using hyperdressing (and even if I occasionally skip it, and fully wash all the dressing off, they're still dark and pitch black brand new looking plastic), and all the exterior black plastics are all still deep/dark black between being ceramicoated to start, then getting hit with OG drying aid every time I wash/dry.

So for the liners, after I wash, then dry with the ego, I just mist each wheel well just enough with the hyperdressing. Can barely tell it's on there when I apply, and it dries nice and dark. I'm still on my same 32oz bottle from 3+ years ago with probably 1/2 the bottle left and I use it for all my vehicles wheel wells.
Since I'm a meguiars fan... had to get me some hyper dressing!

Do you use it on all plastics or just the liners? Your photos are making me step my detailing game up 🤩🦖

Nice improvement! I also dilute mine, I believe it's 1:4 or 1:5 ratio, which is also why that one bottle has lasted me so long. It also helps it dispurse around the liners when they're still damp from just washing the truck and not be overly coated because it just wicks in with the water still clinging to the liners after washing it with a fine mist of the dressing.

I only use it on the wheel liners. I know OG also uses it in the engine bay as well. From time to time I'll spray a little on a towel to wipe on the engine bay plastics but more often I just use OG Drying Aid or Armor Detail Solutions Amplify sprayed on a towel and wiped on the plastics (fender flares, engine plastics, bed rails, etc.). That keeps it a pretty low sheen and it's the exact same stuff I use on the paint as my drying aid so there's no streaking across plastics to paint, etc.

Sent a DM. I called my credit union today and they are very difficult to deal with. I mentioned notarizing documents etc but they have to have the person there. I can do a personal loan and refi though shouldn't be too bad.

That place looks familiar to me, did you ever have a Lightning get together there? I had a 2000 lightning built by JDM hung around with Vinnie and a bunch of other guys back then.. If not the same crowd it still brings back great memories.. And of course good luck with your sale, nice truck for sure..

Hey, sorry just replied to the message. Wrote a lot of info so took me a while to rattle it all off on the keyboard lol

Judging by that screen name, I sold you a center console for your Lightning many many moons ago, probably in the f150online days, before NLOC and Lightningrodder. My screen name on those forums was Harley#356. I used to have a Ford Parts connection way back in the early 2000s and sold a ton of the clear Lightning headlights & taillights and pretty sure I tried to get you some center console parts and that one got confusing with all the brackets and misc pieces haha. I remember your truck very well! I still keep in touch with Vinnie and a few of the other Gen 2 OGs.

Do you still have your Lightning? I was still in HS back in those early Gen 2 days, so I "grew up" on the sidelines watching all you guys race and watched all the epic forum banter for years. When I finally got to a point I could build and race my HD truck, most of the early guys were gone (RobG, Nitrous-Rob, Rook, etc.), but some of the other legends were still around. Vinnie, CT.Topgun, JLP, etc. I've forgotten more names than I can remember now but that hdmlnium screen name sticks out in my head!

Here's my 00 HD after I went built & KB'ed....still have it and this one will never leave! It's got a 4V GT supercar motor, darton wet sleeved 5.8L, with a 4.9L Kenne Bell, 8.50 cage from Joe Gambino, my never ending project lol
