From WS to “at dealer”… is this wait the hardest?

Went WS today (boom!) Average wait I guess… ordered 2/3. Anyway, isn’t this the stage that could take weeks or months? I was finally into a groove of being able to forget about my order during the D to D1 phase. Got a little excited at D1… then again at BS. Now at WS, I’m wound up all over again, haha. So close I can taste it.

Curiously though, my ESD went from 8/24 to TBD once I got my WS. I say “curiously”… but I guess it isn’t, haha. Abnormal is the normal from what I can gather. Anyway- how was this waiting period for y’all once you hit WS? I’m prepared to get frustrated now knowing my truck is actually built but could sit for weeks to months.

That was a hard wait for sure! I used to live close to the plant and dealers had the ability to grab a vehicle from there and cut out the transportation piece. Mine took about 3 weeks from window sticker to delivery.

Mine has been sitting at the CSX yard since 7/12, no movement in sight, no ETA.

Well great. Just as I had started to settle back down and hope for December… you throw that out there, lol. Congrats on your truck!!! Have you picked it up yet? It literally just got to the dealer if I’m reading that correctly.

Just got a message that it arrived on Friday, working on financing and planning to pick up next week.

Hey OP, I feel ya on this. My WS date was 7/25 and now I'm just counting down the days until it arrives. My Estimated Delivery date went from 8/18 to TD the day the WS came out. I think that's just "normal" now. I haven't reached out to my dealer in about a week but I do plan to do so this week. I'm just curious what status they show, basically is it even on the CSX lot yet or not? Anyway, I think this wait is interesting, basically unique for me. On one hand, I'm anxious to get the truck now, but on the other hand, I'm happy the truck is built. ;-)

Same here! My truck was built on 7/21 and the tracker stated TBD for estimated shipping date. It could be at the dealership tomorrow or two months from now. Another major flaw in this whole process.

Thanks for the info… hoping you get some movement soon. I like that report-out… I’ll give it a week or so then ask the dealer (Koons) for an update. They’ve been same-day responsive any time I’ve asked for a status. I try not to bug them but once a month or so. But that’s gonna change now, ha!

I hit up my salesman once a week right now, starting at one month, I will start randomly coming by the dealership.

Just found out today that my truck is expected at the Dealership by 8/7. At least it finally got on a train!
