30 days, so it’s a bit of a gamble.so you got the 1.49 rate? It's amazing!!
Yes it is a big gamble, you dont have a ws yet, My bs was 2/3 and I still dont have my truck yet, latest eta to dealer is 4/15, to chapman, I made the same mistake and have to apply all over again30 days, so it’s a bit of a gamble.
Applied today, got todays best TrueCar rate which is now 2.04. Should have done it yesterday![]()
So what did you have to do in order to have the lower rate? Is there a link on the PenFed website? They said it doesn’t matter because they just see the link you make on the website to the dealer.
naamanf should apply navy fed and get pre-approval. It's good for 90 days. Also USAA gives 45 days. 14 days you can apply multiple banks, it won't hurt your credit score !
I have about 30 days left on the USAA one I have, I'll look into NFCU.So what did you have to do in order to have the lower rate? Is there a link on the PenFed website?
Try Navy Federal you may qualify for the 2.29
Loan to Value at least 80% would make a difference in your rate
happy you listened me. That's great company, excellent customer service similar to USAAAnd done. 2.29%/72 at Navy Fed, locked in for 90 days.
I got the original loan approved when I ordered my truck. Rate was only good for 60 days. Truck took 14 weeks to come in after ordering it. I had to requalify for loan but it was luckily for the same 1.95% for 84 months. I let the CU know what was going on with the order. CU did give me the check on the 2nd approval at the same rates. Been with this CU for 25 years now so they know me well. They usually charge more for 84 over 60-72 but gave me the deal for being a long time customer.that depends where you finance. Does your CU send the check to you or the dealer? If it's in your hands, how they put an expiration on it? Something may be in their policy/requirements.
Picked my truck up about a month ago and the dealer also quoted me 8% initially on a solid FICO. They were able to “buy down” the rate to 6.5%. I had already been approved at 5.49% through USSFCU, which I feel pretty good about given the current state of interest rates.Don't know what ya'll are seeing these days, I've been quoted north of 8% (84 mo) this past week on a solid FICO. Granger (Stellantis) came thru 0.35% cheaper than USAA and USSFCU! When it comes down to it...shop around - Catlyn at Granger has been awesome to deal with.
Ah, the good old days!So this is what my Truecar through Penfed says. Rates as low as .99 as of today.View attachment 38668
