Hell yes they do. I live in a yuppie area and some fellas followed the guy to his house from Home Depot. Returned that night and stole his truck from his gated driveway.

Sounds like you live in an area with a very low theft risk. However, if you ever travel outside your home turf you will be glad you put an anti theft system on your truck. This truck is something you worked hard to get, don't make it easy for these dirtbag thieves to take it from you. And remember after next month no more TRXs are being made so getting a replacement if yours is stolen may not be so easy. Congrats on your new truck, you will love it.
This is exactly why I'm getting IGLA. I'm not afraid of theft at all where I live but it's where I'll travel. Airport, beach etc....it's well worth it.
2021 trackhawk I did for someone in Louisville. Parked at the airport and they tried. Too loud for them to proceed, interior second siren and a piezo “pain generator”. So loud they dropped his radar when they exited stage left

It is an ultra high pitched siren that is small enough to hide, even in a/c vents. I have put them in the vent above the headlight switch on ram/trx’s

As far as security its up to you, personally I would not cheap out and won’t go into why the out of the box deterrents are a waste. Its been regurgitated on here plenty. You look to be in Oregon so getting an IGLA will be you driving to a dealer, one coming to you or you possibly letting me know of a shop or 2 in your vicinity who also do compustar that would be a good fit and then sending my mobile trainer out to get them trained to install and using your vehicle and possibly others to do it. There is a lot of information on this page, more than anywhere else in the world actually. I get calls and messages from all over the world now so instead of being US tech support for IGLA I seem to have picked up canada too recently. If you have questions please ask, can be about any system out. I don’t sugar coat anything so ask away.

Where did you find a new Lunar edition if you don't mind? Was looking for one last month and couldn't find one anywhere, so gave up and got a final edition.
I got really lucky honestly. I was checking every day for one online. Finally came acrossed this one but it was an hour after they listed and after they were closed called 15 min before they opened the next morning and put a deposit down on it. They said they had 13 people call right after i put my deposit on it that morning. But I found it in Minnesota on autotrader.com. You don't even want to know what I paid for it I couldn't believe the deal I got on it. There is also one on ebay I almost bought that has 4k miles on it.
