After 4 months she’s finally here … straight to the tint shop then getting a loud mouth resonator installed and a kill switch … for a kill switch who do you guys recommend ?

Kill switch is a great idea but you need the right installer. If you do not know one personally then you should avoid as you are rolling the dice.

IGLA and SPYNEX are good if you have an installer close by, and if not, plenty of installers around you can install a Compustar R5 or T13 + SPTS.

I’m sure the more informed can weigh in but my impression is that IGLA and Spynex are better alternatives to a kill switch.

I was just curious if you knew why or were just telling people to blindly do things.

I’m sure you can search the forum and find the information you seek but the prevailing thought is that IGLA or the new Spynex is better than a mere kill switch.

You even said it yourself that you need the right installer for a kill switch otherwise you are rolling the dice. What up with that?

I seek no information. I am good and just want to ensure other forum members get the bigger picture

Please search the forum for kill switches, I have already spoken about them...including with the IGLA/SPYNEX guy.

you realize IGLA has little to no support and is drying up real fast due to their closed off ecosystem and unwillingness to share information.

The IGLA guy abandoned IGLA and is now selling SPYNEX. You should no longer recommend IGLA.

It works on my TRX and I see no reason to switch it out “just cuz”. If I buy a new TRX, it would get Spynex. My post mentioned either option. Both still valid. People can choose what they want but I would take IGLA over a kill switch every day of the week.
