Extended Warranty Questions ??

Thinking about a Mopar extended warranty, couple questions for those who have bought them (graniger or zeigler) If I get the 8/80 is it transferable to the next owner in all cases ? If you were buying a used TRX would it matter to you if it was totally covered ? Next if you do not use it has anyone actually got the money back ? If so was it a hassle ? I plan on keeping the truck totally stock so no issues there. Thanks just wanted to get opinions before plunking down 4K or so on it

Beautiful truck! To some its everything to alot they could care less. If your are going to keep and use the truck go for it.

It is my understanding that it is transferable. I think that is a valuable selling point when you sell.

From Mopar:

Yes. To transfer a Mopar service contract with limited years and miles, complete the Transfers Section on the Mopar Vehicle Protection Change Request Form located in our Document Library. Be sure to include your signature which means you are authorizing transfer of the current plan coverage to the new owner. Transfer requests will not be processed: (a) without the signature of the owner for whom the Plan Provisions were originally issued; or (b) if received after 60 days from the date of vehicle ownership change. All requests must include the owner’s name of the service warranty, the plan number, the VIN, the mileage at transfer and the purchaser’s name and address. The transfer fee is $50.
