We lived on the Goldie for 3 years (Hope Island) and loved being in Queensland, so much do to, most of our trips were north and south on the coast and through the tamborine mtns... wish I would have taken my FJ to a Ute round-up while we were there... that's my only regret.Georgia TRX, in July, we are heading out to the Big Red Bash which is at Birdsville, Queensland. By all means Google it. To give you an idea, We live on the Gold Coast in Queensland and it is over 18 hours of driving west and we dont even come close to the states western border. Lots to see and plenty of kangaroos, koalas and camels to dodge on the way. (Yes, thanks to the early explorers, Australia has the largest population of feral camels in the world).
