I want to edit my TRX to include red stitching/remove tire mount. My dealer said it would push it back on being built... can anyone confirm this?

DM @KnightMare he made changes to his 21’ order. It might cause a bit more a wait, but I’m sure you’d rather get your truck the way you want it.
It depends on your dealer. I tried changing my color 3 days after placing my order (I was in C status) and the dealer (one on this forum) refused. So I placed another order with another dealer (on this forum) and they said they would change my order no problem, that they had done it for some other customers, as long as its not too far into the order obviously.
eh, Im just not gonna worry about it. Ill sell the mount carrier and the stitching isnt a huge deal for me
Why not just do the change and get the truck you want? Maybe it will take longer but isn't that worth it in the end?

I'm interested in this too. I was told when I ordered a couple months ago that the Carbon Fiber option would most likely add a delay, so I ordered without it. I never saw any indication that it caused any delays for anyone- so I asked my dealer yesterday if they could add it. My Dealer said they would get with the Regional Rep and ask on Monday.
Since these orders tend to go to D status pretty quick, mine did nearly two months ago- I fear it will cause a delay. I don't think the dealer will know either way, nor am I confident that the Regional Rep will know. I expect just the scheduling folks at the factory will know.
I know it may sound nuts, but sold my 2020 Raptor in June and wife and I operate with just her Mercedes GLE. We work from home so it has worked out OK, albeit annoying at times.
I will be fine without CF package- at this point it will be just a nice to have. Screwing up the build would be worse for me. I think in posting this, I have answered my own question--Don't take the chance.

If you can hammer your dealer to hammer his rep... the rep can make the change if your aren’t D1. However, the big if is, if your rep and or dealer elects to put in the effort. Good Luck! Cheers.
I added a lvl 1 package and changed the exterior color about 3 weeks after I placed the order. As long as your not in D1 your salesperson and Rep can make it happen. Get the truck the way you want it, you will be happier when it does eventually show up.
Damn I did the same thing and didnt order since I figured less options the faster I get the truck. It would have been nice but I do have a ship date already so I guess it worked in my favor

I second the color change and they said I wouldn’t be delayed any longer than originally ordered
I just took off my Ram bar took a couple message going back and forth but that’s just Bc he had to make sure it’s was ok with the rep. Didn’t push anything back dealer said the more I take off the quicker I would get my TRX LOL
I’m not sure if anyone mentioned this already but when you remove the tire carrier there is a huge spot that will be missing line x. And the red stitching, which I have, is badass. I don’t regret getting it at all.

I asked to edit a D status order and was told no. I think that it probably could be edited but it’s a the discretion of the dealer and how much effort they want to put forth….
I asked to edit the order I placed with Tom, the dealership in Pa who was offering 4% below invoice on this forum. I was in D status and they wouldn’t let me. I think it mostly depends on the dealer

It'll only push it back if there is a shortage. I was able to get the red stitching added a couple days before I went D1 and didn't get delayed.

I just ordered a 23 a couple days ago and just looking over everything a again I realized the carbon fiber wasn’t added. That shouldn’t be an issue at all getting that added to my order since I literally just placed it?
Correct let your sales person know you want to edit it
