2022 Ram TRX
Hey guys, so about a week ago they apparently closed new orders for the TRX's. Several others heard the same thing. Dealer I have mine on order with confirmed yesterday while I was there in person that they can't place new orders.

I have now heard today from 2 different dealers that any TRX's that have not been moved into D1 or further status will not be built. A bunch of us have also seen that info and pictures about our trucks have been removed from the Ram tracker.

Anybody have any better info than dealer hearsay? Maybe something directly from Ram?

I am interested in this as my local dealer is submitting an order for me today and said that it wasn't closed yet.

I have a hard time believing they would just dump that many orders, but who knows.

There is like a 1% part of me that hopes they do so I can stop this daily madness and move on.
Maybe just buy another bike, who knows

But one thing is for sure, I would not order another TRX

It makes no sense so it's probably exactly what Ram would do :ROFLMAO: In all seriousness, I agree. Would not make any sense for them to dump orders unless they're running out of parts. I also would be hesitant to order a Ram again if I can't get it off the lot. Ford's process for the Raptors is 100x better. Not sure why it's such a pain with Ram.

BTW.... I believe pics are back up on the tracker

Please keep us posted on what happens.

My local dealer said that my order went through and that I was assigned a VIN already ... not sure how the process works with the order status and all that, but I would think that is a good thing?

That should be a good sign. I 100% doubt it would have gotten that far if the order wasn't going to be accepted.

We are in new territory with the world the way it is, so anything is possible, but one thing we can definitively say is that's not how it went down last year during the 21-22 transition. 21s were produced late into the year, even after 22 production had started.

One thing that I am skeptical about is that the level 2 equipment group on the build sheet dropped from $10,295 to $8,050. The sheet I was provided yesterday showed it at $10,295, but they made an error and included the tonneau cover. After letting them know that was the only error, they corrected it and placed the order. When they sent me the updated build sheet today, the price had dropped to $8,050 ... my question is, what am I not getting? I can only imagine they took something away which is why the price dropped.

Its a known system glitch. It will show up correctly in about two or three days

I assumed it was something like that, or they were having supply issues with one of the features, but found it odd it was still showing $10,295 on the website. The dealer said they didn't want to question it. Thanks for the heads up!

Ford can't figure out how to produce any vehicles, my neighbor is still waiting on his "golden ticket" GT500 that was supposed to be built in 2021 and my other buddy has an original Bronco order that still hasn't been assigned a build date either.

Same thing happened on my order with the Trailer-Tow Group which dropped from $495 to $295 on the POC, Jackie said it would correct itself.

That one I think is different. The TTG has the trailer brake controller but the L2 package also had that so they credit it out of the TTG

So if you order Level 2 + TTG, and trailer brake controller is already included on Level 2, then what does the TTG get you? The physical hitch?
