Does anyone know how to remove the inner door panels. I'm trying to do sound dampening

I was able to get the door panel off no problem. It appears there's 10mm bolts around the inner panel which I removed. The panel become loose. Then it appears the window is connected to it so I disconnected that then when I try to pull the panel away its attached to some plastic bracket toward center rearward section of the door where the latch is. It's an 8 mm bolt holding it. After taking it out and I still can't believe I would have to because you really have to pry the door panel back to access it, I still can't get it off. Anyone have any experience here? I have some extra time and feel like doing this sound deadening myself. I'm missing something for sure because I can't believe they would make it that difficult
