Dash Cam Review - Garmin Mini 2

Many thanks for the guidance. I spoke to the tech who installed my IGLA and he said he can do that for sure. I think I'll have the Valentine Radar detector put in first, and power it right from the rear view mirror. Just need to get the cable & bracket to hold it. He said He will also put the camera in as well. Thanks again Pumphry.
You can get a cable from these guys. Pretty solid tbh.

It looks great, thanks for your review! I was looking for one too, small and simple.

Are these the parts you used?

Long cable: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/pn/010-12530-07
Polarized lens cover: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/pn/010-12530-18
Constant power cable: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/pn/010-12530-23
First of all thank you so much for this post. I really learnt a lot from it! I wanted to ask if Instead of buying the Constant power cable. Can we buy this cable in the attached file that gets the power from the rear view mirror. This way we can avoid the long cable also. Please enlighten me.

Just completed the installation, this can be done in 15-30 minutes depending on how meticulous you are. The excess power cable can be hidden in the plastic near the driver-side side panel near the door speaker. As for the running, the cable 95% of it can be hidden by running it in the gap between the windshield and headliner.

Once you get to the A-pillar just pull some of the trim back and run your cable behind it.
