Custom Plates?

So riddle me this.. how does one get custom plates before getting the car. in GA I thought the car had to be registered already no? Or are you putting it on an older car you have and transferring it?

Different states have different rules. Some state allow you to purchase before you have the vehicle kind of like a reservation.

Ordered my personalized plates while on my Raptor, sold the Raptor, got the new plates. Now I just need my LE to get here to transfer them to.
