My wife sent me a video of the classic GTA5 wheelie to road barrier barrel roll yesterday and said, "Please don't ever do this." My brain immediately went "oh no...not you too!"
It amazes me that people can't tell these things aren't real, but maybe I just played too many video games growing up...

Yeah my buddy text me last night and is like, Dude have you seen that TRX doing a wheelie??

Then he sent me that video and I just started laughing my ass off... told him that was actually a video game. Granted the graphics are really good... I think that's what has gotten most people.

I'm a big gamer nerd myself so I got a kick out of it. Glad you guys have a sense of humor around here.

An older mechanic in our shop was insisting that my wife’s truck does wheelies. I told him it will spin the fronts but not pull them and he continued to tell the owner of the company my wife has a truck that does wheelies. This was 3 weeks ago and now im just seeing why he made these comments.

It's funny how many people have come up to me and have asked me how high the tires get off the ground, not realizing what they watched is a game. Then they'll say, you've seen the video right? Have you done it to yours? I put my truck in a car show this last Saturday, 20-30 people asked me about this.

I just look at them and say, nope, never had the need. They always get disappointed after I say that. Meanwhile, pokerfaced from hell laughing inside.

Another TRX owner was there and he asked me if I had done the wheelie yet. To which I replied, "only in gta" with a shit eating grin. We both laughed and talked about how gullible people are with videos online today, scary thing.

How would the differential in the transfer case react if losing all traction in the front?
AWD doesn't seem to lend itself to wheelies, and putting it in 4WD on pavement wouldn't be nice.

No Idea, I just felt like the thing would leave the ground, I opted out of upgrading my truck for the lack of security I felt in such a powerful and seemingly unbridled truck...and the need for e85.
