Coolant Smell

On an adjacent subject... does anyone have a copy of the shop proceedure for burping the system? I'm assuming their is some special process due to the two resevoirs. Maybe?
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure its two different cooling systems, one for the supercharger and one for the engine itself and they are not connected in any way. The small reservoir is for the supercharger. Both systems have to be pressure filled.

That makes sense. Thanks!

Just saw this post and mine has been doing the same ( coolant smell when shutoff) ... but it's been doing it for months, and yesterday I decided to check for leaks and no leaks seen AND both reservoirs are full of coolant, truck was running and then shut off and still full no change, also whenever I'm driving and "stomping" on it the temp gauge goes up to halfway point ,and oscillates between 1/4 and 1/2 all the time. truck is all stock '21 and at 88788 miles .

Yeah my coolant temp will move around quite a bit too. It's been cold here (about 30deg). But the temp gauge rarely goes past the 1/4 mark. I was thinking someone may have put in a thermostat delete. I drove it 2hrs on the hwy at 75mph and the temps never made it to the 1/2 mark. It's just odd.

But to your point - There may still be a leak even if you don't see it on the radiator. It's probably in the very upper corner on the passenger side buried under the cowl cover. Vapor is off-gassing but the leak isn't big enough for liquid to come through. Should still see some residue though.
