Chapman Ram --- any one have experience?

I ordered my truck back in Nov... I had heard of Chapman not price protecting...
As has been discussed many times, when you placed your order they were offering price protection, they no longer are.

I think they processed 300+ orders for members here. They are pretty good from what I hear. I got mine from them. They did a solid PDI, but my truck was not cleaned up well at all when I took delivery. Other than that, good stuff.
were you there physically when they did the PDI?I meant did you watch them do it?

I just had my free oil change done 2 weeks ago. They also installed my power steps. Great experience with them so far. They even send you a link with video of the work being done.
that is awesome man.

No but I did my own after I got home and saw witness marks on the screws holing the dash panel together to get to the fuses under the steering wheel, witness marks on the rear diff and transfer case, and dirty oily finger marks all over under the hood. All was good. Even had finger prints on my passenger exhaust - looks like they aligned one of the pipes.

My truck arrived at Chapman on 8/23 and I am awaiting a call from finance to go over the paperwork once PDI and other processes are completed. I have my financing all setup with USAA and am just waiting to pull the trigger. I ordered my truck on 12/16 and the msrp had just jumped from $87,000 at the time of ordering to $89,000K with the first level 2 increase and has jumped to $94,765 as of today per the invoice. I have seen allot of people state they have gotten some sort of price protection but I don't think I will be that lucky unfortunately. Would be nice to meet me in the middle somewhere close to $92,000 before 11% discount but we will see. I will let everyone know how the process goes. At this point I am just super excited to get my truck delivered. I have yet to test drive or even sit in one and I figured I've waited this long so I will wait for the full experience. From what I have read on here it is well worth it. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. I will say Chapman has been very quick to respond whenever I asked for updates. Kyle, Ashlie and Tom have all been gr

Good to know brother and thank you. I will ask them to see if they can let me be there with the mechanic if not I’ll follow your steps and I think it’s better that way.

I ordered my TRX from them and it took a month to get it out of them once it landed. I got numerous emails saying how they were backed up. So much so I was expecting them to have sold it to someone else. When they finally got to it they accused me of slacking and wanted to raise the price which didn't happen. When the truck was finally delivered it looked like it was in a dusty field for a month and got rained on. I can't imagine anyone went threw it. Bottom line was I got it $9k under MSRP so shut up and be happy. I gave them great reviews on the surveys as I know there factory bonuses rely on it.

I did not have a positive experience.

I remember hearing about them on the forums so I drove a little over 3 hours to trade my 2022 2500 on a TRX. Fully loaded, diesel, mega cab, etc. They offered almost $15,000 less than what I was offered at another dealer who bought it outright. They told me “Yeah, I don’t know where you’re getting those numbers but here’s what we’ll go to”. I told them KBB, other dealers, market, etc but no budging. The TRX I was looking at had a large buffer mark on the rear fender flare and a scratch you could catch with a nail on the driver side door. I decided to cut my losses there and sell the truck to the other dealer even though I’d still take a loss there.

So here’s what will make me never return… as I was sitting at the sales girl’s desk, she walked behind me to another taller counter to talk it over with an older guy. I couldn’t make out the details of the conversation but I did hear him say “Well you might as well have a little fun with him first, right?”. She immediately returned and presented that incredibly low offer. I don’t know why this struck such a nerve with me. I just drove 3 hours, I would have taken an even remotely fair deal. I certainly didn’t show up for someone to have fun with me. After that experience, I won’t be back.
Why do all car dealers do such things. I'm always waiting for something underhanded weather it be in the trade or finance department. Going to a car dealer is like preparing for a fight every time making the joy of a new vehicle really stressful.

Service ended up working out with the help of the service manager -- they got the ORC control module and installed it. Car has no more codes.

My issue was that they ordered the part for me and wanted to let me drive the truck. The truck had no idea I was even wearing a seatbelt. Definitely unsafe -- they apologized once I made a fuss about it and made it right.

No loaners offered here but they do order you a Lyft, which I appreciated.

I bought my truck from koons not knowing Chapman which is 10 minutes from my house offers similar deal. Anyway this is where I get my trx and wife’s jeep serviced, never had any issues with the service department and they seem very professional.

I ordered my TRX and my wife’s wrangler from them on the same day. Still waiting for the TRX to be built, but the experience with the wrangler was fantastic.

We were in and out in less than an hour… they let my kid climb all over a Galdiator in the show room while we finalized the paperwork, got him snacks, and he left excited to come back to get Daddy’s Ram T-Rex…

4% Below Invoice on the Wrangler, same for the TRX… Wrangler was pristine and ready to go when we arrived.

Chapman was far and away the best car buying experience I have ever had.

And it was nice that I didn’t need to fly to Iowa to pick up the vehicle 😅

Is Chapman still running the same deal on 23’s. Live about 45 minutes away and would be convenient to order from them. I understand they don’t price protect though.

Email them, tell ‘em your local.

They honored the invoice quote on the Wrangler… but that was only a 3 month wait… we will see how they handle my TRX.

They didn’t commit to price protect, but at 4% below invoice, even a $3k price increase puts me at a close to 9k discount from MSRP.

Also risking jinxing myself, but there hasn’t been a price increase since I placed my order in April. Seems the increases were applied against the 23’s not the 22’s
