I Have a TRX on order at a dealer relatively local to me, but already have gotten impatient and want it for the Summer.

I have found a couple that meet my criteria on the ground at Chapman in PA, I’m assuming someone backed out and they appear custom ordered.

Called them and spoke with a Shawn Paul there.

I’m expecting a call Monday AM to appraise my trade in. I may be trading a 22 L3 PW.

Just curious on everyone’s experience there with purchase and trades.

Thanks in advance !

Chapman was great for me.
I locked in a order in August of 2021. Trucked arrived beginning of May this year.

After paper work and transportation every is great. I used stopwatch for transportation. Chapman has checked in twice to make sure everything is OK with the truck.
The crew there really knows what customer service is.

Chapmans been awesome, but beware they have a TON of orders to fulfill from people who have ordered. I was there two weeks ago and had to have been easily 50-70 TRXs on the lot.
As long as you know what you want and go in mind with expectations they are busy, should be an excellent experience. Can't say you are going to get MSRP or under because most people who ordered 6 + months ago and have been waiting only got that pricing I believe.

They will move him to the top of the list as he's buying the truck retail.....and be prepared for a not so great trade offer....they didn't even want my 2021 TRX....

Chapman was the 4th dealer that I worked with on getting my TRX. Couldn't find any dealer in the West that would quote the prices that Chapman could do. I ordered in Aug '21 and truck came in just a couple of months later. Super smooth process through email/phone since I was in UT and had to transport it from PA. They beat my local credit union for financing so I did my financing through them also. I didn't do any trade-in so can't speak to that aspect but as someone mentioned above - them not wanting a '21 TRX for trade in, they might just be focused on moving TONS of trucks right now. I'd work with them again in a heart beat!

Their trade offer was about 8k under reasonable haha so I’m having to figure out another way to sell my current truck.

try carvana and carmax. They are instant, once you get that forward them to see if they can match it. I did that with my dealer and they matched it. if not you can sell it carvana or carmax.
Waiting on Carvana to respond, I’ll try Carnac.

It’s is I’m selling a basically new Power Wagon that’s loaded up, most of those sites don’t know what to do with that lol.

I second GivemetheVIN.com
Sold my STI in 6 days for nearly my asking price.

Chapman sold my truck from under me - said they didn’t hear from me and I didn’t fill in the finance application. Pretty disappointed. I have my current 22 but they sold it and never followed up with me even tho I emailed them several times after I got the email that it came in and be patient cos they got 150 vehicles in…… so I would say they suck.

That’s complete Bs on their part… I would be ripping mad.

Nice, just submitted to them too. Thank you for the link 👍
Good luck. MSRP on my F250 was $79k. I put 5k miles on it and they gave me over $84k. This was in April of this year. Hopefully you come out alright.
