Oh. Something in coolant system let go due to temp over pressure it seems. Tow truck is on the way.

I would respond more fully; however, I’m not terribly adept at adding links and that sort of thing, but their website has a video of the installation and they say it will fit like it does in the regular 1500. I’ll know soon because it shipped today.

I thought I revive this Thread to let you guys know that the lockerdown safe for the TRX is now available for order I just ordered Mine.

The MODEL# is LD2088 Safe for the TRX

About 2 weeks to ship, maybe less...

Thanks for the info! I just added that to the other console safe thread that has also been going on:

anybody heard any updates from @Lock'er Down Team ? Spoke to them last week and they advised the design was finished and it was in line for their fab shop to have the final design built for testing before production. No timing available. Wouldn’t even guess at it.

I also noticed they list 2 versions, 1 has a pry-proof lid, but I don't see any dimensions or depth listed for either? Did Jennifer at LockerDown give you any dimensions?

You want to order the "extreme" lid when you place your order. That's the pry proof one, that's the one I ordered

I spoke with Josh at Lock'er Down and found that this is not like the typical Console Vaults or Lock'er Down vaults in that it does not ship to you as a constructed vault. they ship you three plates -- one plate for the driver's side, passenger side, and back of the console. Then a lid mounts to those three plates. He did not have dimensions but said the depth should be measured from where the console begins to slant at a 45 degree angle towards the front of the console to the bottom. So much better than previous offerings, but I think I will hold out for a Console Vault in hopes that they release a fabricated box rather than just plates.

Lock'er Down only has a prototype at this time and Josh says that they are at least 2 - 3 weeks until they get their order in from the manufacturer and to expect shipping to occur at some point after that.

What kind of safe has 3 sides?

This is the way their safes are made and they ARE quality all the way. I've had three of them. So I'm satisfied with the design and look forward to receiving my bought and paid for unit within the next two weeks...

I spoke with the owner days ago who happened to give me the heads up that it was going up on the website so I ordered immediately. The design is one they use often and it's very safe and effective. It is done to be able to use as much of the console as possible and keep access to the USB and/or 11 outlet that is in there. A box design would be much smaller than the original console size to be able to slip in there AND it would send up covering the outlet. I have no concerns with the design as I had one on a previous vehicle that they did the same way.

I just checked on my order three days ago. They told me the fab shop was behind due to manpower but they hoped to have mine out this coming week and shipped. Cannot say I am holding my breath. I’ve been told for months it was coming, it was ready, it was about to ship, it was in coating, on and on. I’d rather just be told it was going to be 6-9 months if I wanted it then get lies to try to make me go away.
