Brembo Brake Upgrade-Large Rotors and 6/4 piston calipers?

If y’all upgrade wheels to fit bigger brakes, don’t forget about the spare. Might get n a bind w a flat otherwise

Pretty slim pickings on options or brands.

Do you know the size of the options so I can see what wheels they clear? I don’t want to go bigger that 20” if possible.

also while I haven’t done a brake torture test, the stock brakes are better than expected.

Looks like the wilwood has no chance of fitting inside a 20”

Thinking of going with:

VOSSEN® - HF6-4 Satin Black (20" x 9.5", +15 Offset, 6x139.7 Bolt Pattern, 106.1mm Hub) more details on - https://www.carid.com/vossen-wheels/hf6-4-hf64-0g02-3635269176.html?offerid=3635269176

Nice open pattern to show off the brakes.

Let me know what offset will work.

see attached Baer fitment pdf's
Anyone with 20’s willing to measure with the template and confirm fitment? If so please post the wheel used

Everyone’s advice is +18-20 offset for a 37x12.5

Will a 20" rim with 37x12.5 tire fit in spare tire area?

I guess you could just use stock spare if needed to limp to tire repair shop.
It won’t fit without cutting the plastic surround and potentially relocating the exhaust routing to be wider

The plastic surround is just a heat shield. Anything wider than the stock tire wont fit. You could probably unbolt it and wrap the exhaust pipes to keep the temps down

Scratch that, If you go with upgraded brakes, you need a 20" spare to get it on, in case of flat. 18" stock rim wont fit anymore.

1st thing I'd do is get all the factory brake fluid out of there and get some Motul 660 in the system. That will stop the sponginess. I don't have my truck yet so idk if there's rubber brake lines but I would guess so. Getting rid of the rubber will also help pedal feel.

I have found a few but heavy. I could go with HRE but $$$$$. I’m deciding.

Will be 15-20k into mods within a couple weeks. Rather not spend another 10 on wheels right now. I may get a set of 20’s to run smaller higher speed rating 3 season then another set of 20’s with 37” M/T.

and on the brake subject. Got them pretty spongey on a mountain road drive. Going to switch to stainless lines and motul 600 to see how that feels

I would be shocked if they didn’t
I had a 6 in lift on my Duramax with 22's with a -50 offset. Even turning the lift up to 8, they still rubbed off road. It looked kind of goofy with all the clearance.....IMO
