My Gorillas are holding up great. Put them on in October and they survived the winter salt and lack of cleaning perfectly. Granted, I did ceramic coat them, and used a sandwich bag over them to try to prevent the finish chipping from the socket. I’ve been down this road before, and no black lugnuts will hold up here in the salt without a little extra care. None of them will withstand being ram-rodded on with an impact either. I figure since I only have the wheels off once a year, and I do the work myself, the extra time is not a big deal for the look I’m after.
