The biggest issue is going to be folks that have already cut a hole in their grille shroud. I can build a tank and a set of mounts that will be LP9 compatible but the odds of them lining up exactly to a pre-existing hole is going to be slim. Then there is the mount spacing. My mounts push the lights forward through the hole in most cases to allow clearance for the tank, and they sit as low as possible, again to allow tank clearance on the top. If your mounts are off 1/4" from mine, no worky... Sooooo, if you haven't installed LP9's in your vehicle yet, or you're willing to accept that you'll likely have to cut more out of your existing shroud or purchase a new one and make new holes. I'm up for it, but it would have to be tank and mounts together.
As you can see in the LP6 pic, clearances are pretty tight and would be similar in an LP9 design.
