Hey guys,

Got into a wee bit of an accident. Dinged up my drivers side bedside fender. Was thinking of ordering the part and replacing myself. Was wondering if anyone had this experience before. What you did, how you did it.

Obviously body shop is the first idea that comes to mind. But wanted to know if anyone’s tried it themselves.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Are you talking about the metal or plastic?

There is a deep thread on replacing the plastic part somewhere…do a search…all I remember is there are 4 clips that can’t be reached from inside the wheel well & you likely will break them with a swift yank, so someone found the part# to order replacement clips.

Seemed like a good DIY project.

Here’s the thread title…

Has anyone replaced the black plastic fender trim pieces? **updated with pictures showing replacement**

Sounds like he’s talking about the actual fender, not the flare. If I recall, there is an outer panel and an inner panel.
