Just something to think about. When you buy the "bead lock wheels" They are not really "bead lock wheels". First, it will take the purchase of the 2nd piece to bolt on and hold the tire to the wheel.
Second the two piece "bead lock wheel" is not legal to operate on DOT roads. Might take a look, at this. Kind of like getting a fake Rolex...

States enforce road traffic laws, DOT compliance is for the manufacturer or commercial industry not user to comply with. Colorado has no traffic law prohibiting beadlocks (though Utah does). Been running them for years on my other rigs.Just something to think about. When you buy the "bead lock wheels" They are not really "bead lock wheels". Well you know what happens when you assume. Most guys on this forum are aware that the beadlock wheels are really just beadlock capable wheels. Most that choose the beadlock wheels do it because they like how they look. Unless the cop is a TRX owner, there's no way he's going to know your real beadlock wheels aren't DOT compliant, so that argument is moot.
Sorry but you are dead wrong. You get caught by the right LEO you will not be allowed to drive on a DOT public road if you are non-compliant! Same thing with non-DOT tires or even lighting. You need to check with your Counsel not AI Google.States enforce road traffic laws, DOT compliance is for the manufacturer or commercial industry not user to comply with. Easy look it up!!Agreed, read the laws. I'd love to see what the officer would cite in the traffic safety code. This is one of those internet myths that refuses to die.
Should be easy to prove me wrong. Cite the actual Traffic safety code violation. Not a 3rd party site's interpretation.
Got mine and like the gun metal color. Liked the all-black beadlocks on my Sandblast a little more but think these look good.
