Good morning all,
My vehicle is approaching three years in service. I can tell that the battery is not able to hold a full charge overnight and it’s time for a new battery question for those who have done this which has to be the majority of everyone. If I just remove the battery and swap it out without using a battery saver, will this cause any problems with the ECU? Moreover, will this cause any issues with my installed Agla and Compustar T 13 alarm systems?
Any help here would be most appreciated. I have sent a note to Sound Evolution who installed both of the security systems to see what they have to say when changing a battery when these alarms are installed the last thing I want is to pull the battery reinstall a new one and then have an inability to start the truck because the Igla system or Compustar needs to be reset somehow. Same thing with the ECU unit.
Appreciate the help as always!
Adam
