Can someone point me in the direction of where to find stats on the average time in D status, i.e. from the time you place your order and get the vin to when you get to 'scheduled'.

Hahahaha, it varies. No rhyme or reason. Could be 1-2 months, could be 10-11 months. Just buckle the seatbelt, and wait like everyone else.

I just got delayed another week due to the rail strike even if it didn’t happen.

Is there any data that shows how long people have waited between 'Order Confirmed' and 'Scheduled' ?

Posts like these remind me of when I joined the forum with the same questions. There's really no rhyme or reason at all. Some have gone from D to D1, built and at the dealer in 5 weeks total. Some have waited 11 months. You may get very frustrated as you see build sheets day by day with the same or more options than you ordered and their order was placed well after you. Your truck may be built and sit at the yard for a month waiting to get on the rail. You may get frustrated at the complete lack of info that Ram provides other than their tracking website which is questionable at best. The only advise or info I can relay is that there is no way to figure it out, because there is absolutely no pattern. Try, the best you can to not get frustrated and just check in with your dealer from time to time and remember it may take a long while. I was given that advise when I asked the same questions, was frustrated and asked any which way I could to come up with some reason to think there was hope. I didn't listen and it made the experience miserable, UNTIL I picked up the beast. People will say its worth the wait, you won't believe it, I didn't. I picked it up and I am now a believer, its absolutely worth the wait. I hope you get some sort of comfort or perspective from what I am saying, but having been on your end you probably won't. Hopefully your number will be called sooner than later

Thanks for that! It definitely seems random and worth the wait for sure!

Man, I've been there. Listen to these guys when they tell you that there's no rhyme or reason to it. It might be 3 weeks (saw 21 days from order to build sheet on a black base model) or 12 months. Now, sure, there's a median. I'm guessing it's about 6 months. Some people get it earlier. Some get it later. I'm on track for about 6 months from order to production. Which will probably mean about 7 months from order until when I take delivery. Although mine could get held up in shipping and go even longer. There's so many variables. Best of luck.

The dealer that I ordered from supposably has "Enjoy prioritized order processing and build scheduling". We shall see. Ordered on September 24th.

I think priority means within the dealers allotment not with the factory.

We can look forward to getting scheduled but since there's not going to be any built for a another 6 weeks there's no reason to get too excited for some time.

Interesting, which dealer?

Do they build the TRX trucks in batches? Meaning will they build a few weeks of TRX then move to other trims and keep rotating?
Hopefully they don't wait well into '23 to begin building the TRX orders. I know with the hellcats they only built certain versions (widebodys cvs non, redeyes vs non-redeyes) at certain times.

Mathematical calculation for wait time: Wt = ∞ + 1
