At the ship yard.

My truck was finally built and is just got to the city but it’s been sitting at the yard waiting for a truck to deliver it to the dealership for 3 days now …. Is this normal ? The dealer is trying to get it over to them but no luck as of yet

Im in same situation. Yard is 45 min from dealer.

You guys asked your dealer the location? My delivery dates are 10/10-10/15 and im probably sitting in the ship yard too.

You new ppl should read older posts from '22 or '23 regarding shipyard delays. I remember Zach@Granger heading to one of the shipyards with gasoline to fuel a truck, users tracking down delivery trucking outfits assigned to a certain shipyard and calling dispatch, I also remember cars not being able to be moved because of dead batteries or lost FOB's but I also remember impatient buyers. I mean we had users stuck at ship yard for weeks before any update.

Very normal. Happens all of the time. Waiting on a full truck to take to your dealer. Everyone including me hates this, but it is not going to change.

yup talked to my dealer rep and they are assigning a driver today. Should have it tomorrow or Wednesday.

your msg is not clear ..If the dealer said the dealership is assigning a driver , dealership lies. The ship yards have unions and you cant just have a random driver with a flat bed to pick up your truck. If dealership called dispatch and they were told car is going to be picked p tomorrow then tomorrow the car is moving..unless car wont start and driver picks up next car. If car doesnt move tomorrow as dealer told you, please read some old threads to know what to expect and how to get your car delivered sooner than later

Yep. Mine sat at the railyard for 2 months before heading to the dealer.

And it was delivered by itself with nothing else on the transport.
