AT GRANGER!!!!

Seemed like just yesterday (Mar. 22')...when Finance called noting "It's arrived!" and when would we like to pick it up (driving my vetted trade from AZ).

I had purposely tried to relax and not monitors it's transit post production (a deviation us seeking our baby's gender early in the pregnancy/vacation plans akin to a Military itinerary, etc!).

Finance noted that TRX owners are his favorite to call, majority sharing the same excitement, anticipation and passion since placing the order.....

I surmised, at the end of the day, no one really needs a TRX as compared to a logical and sensible commuter, company car or fleet/work vehicle. Likewise - my story and similar - sharing their delivery experience/road trip and first 500 miles crescendo to full ECU potential seem comically like being a new Parent for the first time:D

The rear signage is brilliant BTW!...only an image of glaring Eco-Wacko Greta Thunberg and 'DRIVER ATTEMPTING 14MPG!' would complete the back window trifecta.

Well it’s been an awesome day. I had a great experience with GRANGER. Brandy (sp?) was super cool and I was taken care of quickly even tho I dropped in early. They helped me swap my lug nuts out for the locking black Gorilla set and then I did the running boards and mud flaps in their parking lot before leaving. From my quasi thorough inspection- the truck was immaculate. I found no issues with scratches, marks, dents. The PDI was done and the truck was clean- all panels were lined to spec and full tank of gas. Now that I’ve been to their area I completely understand the “miles” for the touch-less wash and premium fuel. Truck had 45 miles and I was 100% fine with that. I’d be fine with double that if it meant the truck was in the same condition I picked it up in. I’m staying the night again in Des Moines because it’s safer (less chance of my baby getting stolen) and then waking early to drive to Chicago for the IGLA and compustar system. Even the 17 minute drive from the dealership back to the Marriott I felt like a turd going a slow 55mph…cars stacking up behind me. Haha. So…I printed these out for tomorrow 😏. After 100 miles I should be able to go faster tho!!
Congrats on delivery!
Oh man, your rear window signs had me CRACKING up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those are great!
Safe travels!

In my book.....Logical and sensible are over rated!
No one needs a TRX.......but you REALLY WANT a TRX!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :)

I FREAKIN LOVE this forum! You guys are all awesome and it’s such an amazing thing to have an entire community share in your passions and moments of excitement!

In the real world- no one gets this stuff- at least not in my circle. I get questions like “why did you swap out the wipers on your brand new truck?” “Wait, you are bringing mudflaps with you?!” “It looks the same as your other truck….”

I’m on the road now to S&A for the IGLA install, but while I’m waiting I’ll see if I can get a list going of the vins I did see. Just in case it makes someone’s day!

Drove straight thru from Texas - stayed at a hotel in Des Moines and now I’m walking their beautiful green field of dreams!! It is a sight to say the least!!
ascott love the Dobi-Batman ! Here’s ours.

Omg I LOVE it. I had to put my boy down last month and it was the worst thing I’ve ever had to go thru. I had him for the past 11 years and he was my everything- very much like a person. Dobermans have a way about them - they weave their way into your life and hearts and then it’s impossible to imagine life without one. I am on a wait list for another one (maybe this winter or spring timeframe). Love your boy- he looks so regal!

Okay- so this is what I verified is there at Granger’s “TRX Valhalla”. In no particular order - except the order of the photos I took haha. Oh- and by no means do I think I got ALL the TRXs at Granger. Just what I could see until I got distracted and confused. Haha.

Likely these aren’t all (if any) member vehicles - and likely if it is a members- they have been notified by Granger. But just in case :)

That’s my Gray one you couldn’t see VIN. Jaron from SW is checking on transport now. Hopefully it’s here on Monday.

Thanks ! Sorry for your loss they definitely are part of the family. We lost our first Dobi to cancer at 8 years old a couple years ago. Good luck with getting another one !

People sell dirt from Iowa and ship it all over the US. It’s black and full of nutrients compared to many other places.

Love it! Driving back to Vegas (hopefully in the next few months) will be copying the signs, perfect! Safe travels…….,

I ordered from Towbin and got the VIN on 1-24-2022. Hopefully I'll get it in the next two months. When I do, we need to get together and set up the Las Vegas Valley TRX Club, unless there already is one.
