Does MBRP use their standard 3" resonators or something specific for the TRX exhaust? Any idea how long they are? I'm considering just replacing the stock resonators with MBRP.

id get the full kit your stock exhaust has mesh screens in it so changing resonators won't really do much for sound.

The other benefit my mpg is up to 13.8 was 12." I am left to assume that this author is stating that with just the MBRP, he is putting out almost 800 HP. I personally don't believe that your going to gain ~90 HP by replacing a 3" stock exhaust with a 3" aftermarket exhaust. Any thoughts out there?

Just installed these Black Widows. Sounds freaking amazing. I like quality and was ready to get the Attack from Borla. Cost was not a factor as long as it sounded good.
Two of my friends out East Long Island had been telling me to hear their TRXs with these pieces and after I did I had to get them.
I want to hear these against the Borla and compare. These BWs sound aggressive on throttle but not too loud just perfect. They are much louder than stock though so the difference is very noticeable.

Not yet I literally just got back from the instal shop. I had a few stretches from dead stop and it sounded insane. 3 gear up sounds down a bit and you can travel on the hwy with almost no difference from stock. 1-2 gear are riots. Again I could care less for the price but it sounds great, pieces are high quality and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth it.
I waited 6 months for the borla attack and got this instead after it became available. Go figure

Took a ride with the fam, iMO these are the loudest you want to go before it gets overwhelming.

If you step lightly it would sound stock, you step down crackles really loud 1,2,3 gears.

BTW the BWs are skinny, the guy unboxed them so I could check theres two small baffles, otherwise it's a straight pipe..lol

These are only 10” long and from what I’ve been reading the stock ones are 20”. So it must be pretty loud because it’s now mostly straight pipe! Vids, please

Tomorrow morning I'll take pics underneath so you can see how they look installed. I do remember looking at them and thinking they looked almost like straight pipes, lol
Ill try to make a solo vid driving somehow.
I'm trying to load a video remote starting it but dont know if the difference is noticeable on audio.

Video sucks. Remote starting doesn't really show much. Not a cold start. After the crank you might be able to notice differences but I'll post one with windows down for the real deal. Was taking the fam to dinner, wife was impatient staring me down

Sounds good! Definitely appears louder than stock. Can’t wait to get my truck.
