Has anyone confirmed that these do anything?

Transmission cooler/hx are always good addition or upgrade, and looks like a decent quality kit, setrab quality, maybe?

Already mentioned, but how does it compare to stock?
Does it work good enough to bypass radiator? (Where those claims inline or bypassed)
Whats est btu rating of the unit?
Aux push or pull fan option?
Temp bypass included, option, or factory retained?
Options for different mounting location, stacking with other hx?

Some of that is covered in AFE's Description:

"Supplemental Cooling:
Designed to work in-line with your vehicle’s original equipment. Provides lower transmission oil temperatures to reduce transmission wear and extend life of oil viscosity."

I don't think they'd put a guaranteed number of how much cooler because there are way to many factors to add into that.

Sure you may piece together a setrab universal cooler and lines, but AFE put together a kit for these trucks for the guys not wanting to do so.

There is no Fan Option, that would be more so for the DIY guy building his own setup & could possibly run that fan to an AUX Switch.

This would be no different then the older Vehicles "TOW PACKAGE" which adapts an external cooler inline with the factory transmission cooler built into the condenser or radiator.

If you wanted to bypass the factory thermostat that is a different product entirely.

I don't think this product is out to replace or fix a known issue, just add a little bit of peace of mind for guys that may be seeing a little higher then they'd like temperatures.

Cost? Does trans fluid have to be dumped during install? Would be nice if you could come up with an oil cooler kit/upgrade especially for those of us who have had to relocate our oil coolers to the trunk (almost) for winch install lol
