392 Wrangler

I got here because I can't fit in the 392 (or any other wrangler) because the roll bar hits the back of my head. It's fine for a quick drive to the store but not for anything over distance or with bumps at speed. Once i accepted that I couldn't make it work I ordered the TRX. I have never sat in one but based on other trucks from Rams to F150 to my old gen 1 raptor I should be fine being a little bigger than the average bear.
How tall are you? My boy is 6’2” and has absolutely no problem with head room in our 392. Would not be a problem even if he were a couple or few inches taller! In fact, his height makes it very easy to get in and out of where someone shorter has to pull up in since there are no side steps.

No, torch red with black and red guts. Not sure about doing the ZO7 package and carbon wheels. Figure minimum of 20k for that. Actually like the lines of the base ZO6 better without that silly ass wing...but for resale??

Very nice! It depends on what your using it for. I plan to track mine should it work out that I get the allocation. If your going to track it the ZO7 would be the way to go IMO. But if not the ZO6 is more than any of us needs on the street. Lol. I love The carbon fiber wheels and have a bunch on my motorcycles. But if it’s 95% street I think the right call is to stay away from them. Pot holes and then when it comes time to change the tires you need to find a shop that’s is extremely good.

Not sure if carbon brakes are the best idea if its a regular track day toy, unless you like buying rotors that cost more than hre wheels.

My car will never see the track but more power to those who can use the cars potential. The Z07 package would be for resale value only. It will be a weekend toy, but I promise no going 5 under the speed limit in a caravan of old white guys in Bermuda shorts and gold chains! But I do confess I maybe wearing my Rolex. Come to think about it....I am not a typical corvette guy by stereotypical definition. Hmmm.

Too be honest I'm fine with that, Brakes are very important on the track and its not like the car will see 15,000 miles per year. I also track motorcycles and sometimes stopping fast is even better than having too much HP. lol

I would love, love, love a 392 Wrangler...If they offered a 2-door version! Since they don't and say they won't, I have nicely modded Rubi 2-door to keep my TRX company when it finally arrives-which looks to be soon as I got my build sheet two days ago!

I am 6’5” to 6’6” depending on the shoes/boots I am in. I think about 6’3” to 6’3.5” would be good. 6-4 would be close but for me it’s just a no go and I sort of want the interior of the trx anyway and the space since I am also 315 having more shoulder space is a plus. The raptor was the most comfortable car I have owned so hoping to beat that in every way.

My legs are not the issue it’s the but to head that gets me.
