Neat. I also noticed you (@KnightMare) that you were told they were going to make as many as they could (have orders for?). Does that lead us to think that places like Mark Dodge will be able to order as many as possible (as in the past) - and this really won't be a true allocation type of situation? I suppose it is always something of an allocation as the number cannot be infinite.

Thanks for the work @KnightMare and @Eighty! Seems like things are moving forward. It'd be great to see an order guide so the complaining by some of these guys can finally begin...and end.

I had an exec tell me they would make as many Bloodshot editions as customers order. The only limiting factor is how many the vendor can do since it has to go to an upfitter for painting, which I assume would be Penske.

From what a couple dealers told me, they are doing allocations based on sales of the 1500. I know a lot of people who buy from Mark Dodge, I don't think they'll have a big issue getting allocations for TRX's

Does it show build sheets? I am curious what options are shown. Hoping and praying the red interior accents are optional.

Yes, there are build sheets (like this one https://www.ramtrucks.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=1C6SRFU93TN250289). It lists the "Red Interior Accents" under Optional Equipment. But that doesn't mean it will be optional when you order. It's my understanding that it will be packaged in.

I'll ask my dear friend tomorrow if every TRX will have red accent interior. Every TRX I have pictures of so far has red accents in the interior.

Yeah - interesting. If the produce like 2022/23, should have no real issue with supply. Also, it being $103k for the cost of entry will assist a bit with supply. I guess when I hear 'allocation', to me, that means throttling of supply and therefore a decrease in discount. If they're already mentioned they'll make as many special editions as are ordered, I would imagine the same would apply to the normal versions.

Don’t “feed” the allocation rumor. It’s just a rumor at this point, but if enough people repeat it, the rumor will have the same impact as fact. That being, dealers will claim limited allocation & demand premiums.

I saw it when the original Lexus LC430 was released. I knew a lady who paid MRSP (back when “over MSRP” didn’t exist) because she believed the salesman when he said production is limited & all are sold before even being produced. Easy enough to believe when they had zero LC430 on the lots.

Here’s the truth. There were plenty of LC430s in all colors & option packages being stored in lots across the country. Funny that after she put down a deposit, an LC400 in her desired color became available & was delivered 4 days later.

They are still pulling the same sh#t, but this time with the GX550. If you check the forums, nobody can order GX to their spec. Why? Because the next 3 months supply is already built. It’s more profitable for Lexus & helps the dealers maintain pricing.

Yes. It's already been stated that a Level 1 TRX will have a base price of ~$99k. 2027 Level 1 is similar to the current Level 2 trucks.
